Description
We are at York in April 1999 to see class 91 loco drags. There was engineering work taking place on the ECML between Northallerton & Newcastle and trains were diverted around the Durham Coast. So York was chosen as the loco change over point as Northallerton hasn't the infrastructure for such moves. We see Res Class 47s dropping onto class 91s before heading north with the dead electric in tow. Also seen are a couple of Virgin HST's and a Trans-Pennine Sprinter.
