Back to November 1992 and from what i remember a special Network SouthEast Network Day weekend, a specially priced 1 Day Network Rover was available both days which i took advantage of. On Saturday 14th i headed for Salisbury & Exeter as DC Tours were running special trains over both days. We see here NSE West of England class 47s in action on the normal passenger workings although new class 159 DMUs are seen in sidings at Salisbury, in use for traction training for the crews. On the railtour front we see class 20s, 33, 37 & a class 60 in use. A good but cold day out!
