The May visit by the Network Rail PLPR train was disrupted again, with the Monday 18th run experiencing technical problems that caused the train to return to Derby on Tuesday 19th May. It returned from Derby on Thursday 21st May and I intercepted it as it climbed out of Manningtree toward Ipswich on the evening of Friday 22nd May, followed by its passing of Mistley station and crossing the causeway across the Stour in the dark.
