The Northern Belle Pullman train was out and about in the North East today (12th August 2022) travelling from Darlington to York, then up to Newcastle via the East Coast Main Line and onward to York via the Durham Coast Line.

In this video the train is seen passing Monkton Fell just west of Fellgate Metro Station on the Newcastle to York leg via the Durham Coast Line, top and tailed by class 47 diesel locos Nos. 47812 (front) and 47815 ' Great Western'.

There is a glimpse of some of the local wildlife in the video too.
