One of the Locomotives present at Stockports Annual Railshow this year was 57309, A Virgin Trains (Hired by DRS) Locomotive used for rescuing struck Pendolino trains. Other than Driver Training routes, the 57s are only used on 2 booked diagrams (5H00 Preston-Longsight) and 5F09 (Crewe-Edge Hill, Starts from Preston with just the 390) Here we have me putting the power onto 57309, with talk from the driver about what happens when the foot is taken off the Pedal, Visitors were also allowed to Lower the Unique Dellner Coupler, However my friend Aaron (Rail Link, Subscribe!) Took this opportunity. I'd like to Thank Virgin Trains, DB Schenker (Present with 60001) and Direct Rail Services and all other people that were involved in the running of the event for making it happen, it's not an every day occurence that you can cab a 60 and 57 in one day, let a long put the power up on one!
