🚆 Railway Action at Nuneaton | Part 2 | West Coast Main Line | November 13th, 2025

Welcome back to Trains & Freight Diaries, and this is Part 2 of the Nuneaton autumn filming series.

This video continues the action from the busy afternoon session, capturing a mix of express passenger services, freight movements, rare locomotive pairings and a surprise special moment involving a preserved locomotive.

🚂 FREIGHT & LIGHT ENGINE MOVEMENTS

Part 2 delivers another varied line up of freight and locomotive traffic, kicking off with:

• 66776 — 4L05
• 66546 — 4M91
• 66764 — 4M78

A notable highlight was a double Class 90 light engine movement, running as 0Z92 and featuring:
👉 90014 paired with 90011, travelling northbound in formation.

Additional freight included:

• 66025 — 4L32

The final surprise of the session came in the form of preserved locomotive 37901, running light engine.
Not only did it stop directly in front of the camera position, but the crew performed a directional change, allowing up-close views of:

🔹 Nameplates
🔹 Cab detail
🔹 Livery finish
🔹 The repositioning of the identity plaque

A rare and memorable moment captured perfectly on film.

🚅 PASSENGER TRAFFIC

Passenger movements kept the tempo high, with a mix of high-speed and regional workings including:

• 170639 — 1P08
• 390119 — 1A45 — wearing the striking Pride livery
• 350118 + 350402 — 1U31

Two brand-new Class 805 units also made an appearance, with 805011 and 805007 running together on a working that did not appear on RealTime Trains, adding mystery to the movement.

A further Class 805 — 805003 on 1D88 — completed the modern rolling stock line up for this episode.
