Description
With today (23rd April 2020) being a day where the official withdrawal day of A4 Pacific No. 600009 'Union of South Africa' from the main line is being announced in the media, I thought it a good time to show a compilation of the steam loco in action.

All video clips were shot in 2012 and 2013 and 60009 is shown in various location around the UK on rail tours and movements.

Further video footage from later years will follow in the months ahead.

Thanks to owner Mr John Cameron and all involved in it's operation for giving us the pleasure of seeing this iconic locomotive on the mainline for so many years.

Thank you for watching and please feel free to comment.

Please stay safe during the Covid -19 Pandemic. Allan.
