GWR 'King' Class 4-6-0 Steam Loco No. 6024 At Bristol Temple Meads - Stag Party Oblivious
I had videod it leaving TMs station earlier in the day and it was a surprise to see it pass through later that night when I was in my hotel bar having a quick drink.
The noise is from a group of about 50 good natured Irishmen who were having a Stag 'Do' in Bristol and were oblivious to the steam loco passing as they were otherwise engaged!
A GWR 'King' class 4-6-0 steam locomotive, No. 6024 'King Edward I', is seen running light engine with a support coach from Bristol Temple Meads station following a railtour from Plymouth. The footage captures the locomotive passing through the station late in the evening, while a group of approximately 50 Irishmen in a stag party were unaware of its presence. The video provides a rare glimpse of this historic locomotive in operation and highlights the contrast between the quiet workings of steam rail travel and the lively atmosphere of the event.
