The East Lancashire Railway held its '40s at 60' event on 13th to 15th April 2018 to celebrate 60 years of the class 40 Type 4 diesel loco. Six class 40s were in attendance and five were operational at a well attended event over the three days.

The locos involved are shown at the beginning of the video. I filmed on day one of the event on Friday 13th April 2018 at Ramsbottom and Bury Bolton Street.
