Loram 37418 & Caroline Working Yorkshire Inspections July 2025

Welcome back

Today we have a big video of 37418 with its best mate Caroline, seen at many spots.

Tuesday 22nd July:

Firstly, see 37418 apply some power passing Thurscoe, heading for a booked stop at Moorthorpe.

Next, see 418 speed past Sherburn In Elmet with some good horns.

After a booked stop at Church Fenton, 418 thrashes past Ulleskelf with some more tones.

Wednesday 23rd July:

Firstly, see 418 erupt into life at Holgate alongside the PLPR, which can be seen in a recent video.

Unfortunately, a planned shot of it heading to Colton to reverse was not to happen, as the working got later and later, we weren't even suprised when 418 was shunted out and reversed just outside Holgate, much to my disapproval. See Caroline give a loud blast on the horn to warn us he wasn't going our way, before hitting the brakes and stopping just in view.

However, this mishap didn't stop us, as we raced for York station as soon as the tails were put on. We managed to make it in time miraculously despite cycling.

Then, see 418 depart York with horns and a little power.

Next up, after a day of disappointment after Brittania failed, 418 leads into York for reversal before Caroline leads out to Holgate with thrash.

Monday 28th July:

Firstly, see 418 lead into York with a nice three tone headed for a booked stop on York's platforms.

Next, see it roll up to Platform three before being given the signal for Holgate.

Finally, see Caroline lead round the avoider heading for Newcastle.
