Channel: John K Wells
Player
Description
Filmed a year earlier than the previous trip in 1986 this 'bonus' footage includes a car journey from Kenilworth Road towards 'town', joins the ring road before heading east out of the city via Gulson Rd and Binley Road. Unlike the previous route, there have been many changes here including the closure and disappearance of the eye hospital on Gulson Road together with other changes along the route - most notably Gosford Green area and the removal of the old railway bridge replaced in later years by the construction of 'Sky Blue Way'.
Hope you enjoy watching this extra footage.
