Nene Valley Railway 'Diesel Gala' 07/03/2026
A fantastic day out on the Saturday of the gala to see five diesel locos, a Pacer and HST in action with intensive timetable including shuttle runs to & from Fletton Junction. The main star guess to gala during the weekend was Class 66 No.66791 "Settle & Carlisle 150" from GB Railfreight was double heading with resident British Railways Class 14 No.9529 and Class 45 No.45041 "Royal Tank Regiment". However the main star of the two event was one of British Railways Class 43 43048 "T.C.B Miller MBE" was recently painted into Midland Mainline livery joins follow resident Class 43 43045 and the three coach Mk3s. The British Railways Class 143 'Pacer' No.143602 was running shuttle services to & from Fletton Junction.
