Description
Taken around 1979/80 this footage shows the tremendous variety of traction to be found on the East Coast Main Line. The Deltics had little more time to go and had largely been replaced by HST sets on main line trains. They were still to be found however albeit relegated to semi-fast services where three examples in this short film were captured at Barkston Jn.
