BR in the 1980s - Greaves Sidings
This video shows Greaves Sidings, located south of Leamington Spa, during the late 1980s. The site was originally connected to the main line via Leamington Spa signal box and served as a distribution centre for Blue Circle Cement after cement production ceased. British Railways' diesel shunters operated within the facility alongside passing trains heading to and from Banbury. The sidings were eventually closed in 1994, with only one train per weekday continuing to Bescot until then. The footage captures the site during its final years of operation.
