Join us at Cardiff Central on 20th January 2023 as we travel onboard 231007, from Penarth via Cardiff Central to both Bargoed and Rhymney.. On a cold but sunny day I will show you the inside of our train as we travel to Penarth, then reverse to Cardiff Central and Queen Street and finally reverse at Bargoed for the return run. On the same train we then go back all the way up to Rhymney. With no leaves on the trees note the lines of houses as we travel through the Valleys. Finally these 231 are to replace the ailing 769s
