Description
Join me at the Barry Tourist Railway at their new platform down at the Waterfront. We ride behind 0-4-0 Kear Stauart 3063 built in 1918, take on water at the shed and double head on the departure, from the Waterfront, at the end of the day, with Gronk 08508. The 0-4-0 worked at the shipyard in Chepstow for most of her life and is now being stored at Barry for a while.
New developments at Barry Waterfront include new offices, retail and food outlets as well as more housing almost down to the trackside. Worth a visit for this much improved area of the town.
