Railways at Cardiff in 1993. 30 movements day/night

Channel: Mike Wilcock. Rails in Wales.

Description
Back in the '90s we were living in Merseyside so Nick and I made a 2 day visit to Cardiff by rail on the 7th and 8th January. Classes 31, 37, 47, 56 and HSTs are to the fore. The Cardiff Riverside Station, south of the station, was due to be removed later in the year. Most of the stock was quite dirty, compared with 2020 and there was a complete lack of other rail enthusiasts. But at least I have my original 3 hour tapes. More to come soon
