Trains at Manchester Piccadilly, WCML - 20th May 2026
On my second day of my trainspotting holiday 20th May 2026, I’m at Manchester Piccadilly.
I had lots of fun been at this station, it’s one of my top favourite stations in the Network. There’s so much to see and lots of varieties, so it really keeps you on your toes.
Station itself looks spectacular, with overhead glass canopy.
View vantage point is excellent, seeing loads Train traffic in tge distance.
Station Terminus is decent with a lot of nice facilities, loads of shops and restaurants.
There is a Tram station on lower station level situated in the Terminus.
And a Manchester City Centre is right outside the station, which takes you around the City.
Trains you will see in this video are Avanti Pendolino 390, Cross Country Voyager 220, 221, Northern 150, 156, 323 331, 195, TransPennine Express 185, 802 Nova 1, Transport For Wales Class 67, 82, 197, Frieghtliner Class 66 & Class 88 Direct Rail Service.
Overall it’s a fantastic station, worth going to.
Definitely will go back again.
