An absolutely amazing railtour ran on the 30th of May 2026, organised by Turkol who run many heritage railtours throughout Poland. This years “Pirate” event was very different - using a Class 66 from Freightliner Poland for the very first time. This controversial yet sell out 2 day railtour was an amazing experience and I hope they run another railtour with a Class 66 soon. The train ran from Poznan - Kołobrzeg Port, and the last bit included street running, footage in this video includes onboard thrash and footage of the slow but fascinating street running. I decided to walk back to the train for the run back allowing me to get some unique photos. 66025 was the loco used on both days, and was exported from the UK to Poland in 2024, previously being 66956. It also had some very loud traction motors!
