West Somerset Diesel Festival day 1 | Visiting 37250, 47714, 26007 + the home fleet all in action
Enjoy all of our highlights of the first day from the morning spent riding the visiting EWS liveried 37250 from Bishops Lydeard - Minehead, as the first day of the gala got underway! We see and ride behind the visiting RES liveried Class 47 47714, Class 26 26007, as well as the home fleet DEPG Hymek D7017 with the resident Class 33 D6566, Class 14 D9526 and DMU also in action, heading up and down the line between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead and at the end enjoy some bonus hydraulic mileage to Norton Fitzwarren with the Hymek. 50049 'Defiance' was not out today but will be in service through the remainder of the gala, setting the tone for what should be a good weekend of diesel action over the rest of the weekend! | 04.06.2026
