Starting at Newport on the 12th Feb.with 47s Cam Peak and Joe Strummer on a Pathfinder Tour; top and tail run round to form a double header departure as the 1Z57.. 47828 Joe Strummer was named that day at Bristol Temple Meads. .Note 09015 on freight pass through. On the 16th I drove to Carmarthen to catch 66027/30 on the Serco test train. Then on the 17th I was at Neath Abbey Wharf for the 1st Freightliner service with 66601 and headboard. After a quick lunch I drove to Neath and Brecon Junction to catch 60025 on coal from Onllwyn and the Serco again on the Cwmgwrach branch waiting to run round and go up to Onllwyn where we end this series of clips....more soon from 10 year ago
