A short sequence from Monday and Tuesday with a couple of interesting trains in the region. We begin at Bridgwater on Monday with 37418 'An Comunn Gaidhealach' is seen leading inspection saloon 975025 'Caroline' from Taunton loco sidings towards Derby on the ill fated run that saw the 37 fail at Charfield loop and subsequently get rescued by 37510 'Orion'.

Not far behind was 50049 'Definance' having completed it's duties at the West Somerset Gala https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADVJiz6yysc&t=4366s and returning back to the Severn Valley, before heading onwards to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway for their diesel gala this weekend.

Tuersday saw another GBRF Class 99 move, this time out of Avomouth Docks. 57306 'Branch Line Society' was deployed to fetch the new arrival, this time just the single 99 99010. We have a look at the 99 from St Andrews Road Station, before The 57 is seen passing Bristol Parkway before returning with the 99 in tow heading for Leicester. | 15 - 16.06.2026
