Trip over to Chester & Crewe in Cheshire
First stop off was Chester Station to Capture 61306 ‘Mayflower’ & 57311 working the Fellsman Railtour from Crewe up to Carlisle. 57311 brought in the tour, quick stop off to pick up passengers and away to go with Mayflower operating the tour up to Carlisle
Second stop off was Chorlton south side of Basford Hall Junction on the WCML - West Coast Main Line. Plenty of freight & Variety operating in the duration time at Chorlton. Surprise working was 59201 heading back down to Wembley from the weekends event at Derby Litchurch Lane ‘The Greatest Gathering’ Gather it will head back down to the Westbury area in the coming days.
Highlight of the day was the LSL Convoy again from Derby Litchurch Lane back to HQ’s at Crewe - Convoy consisting of 40013 45118 60007 ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’ & 60532 ‘Blue Peter’
