Trip to Cheshire at 4 locations along the West Coast Main Line WCML
Location 1 - Chorlton
South of Basford hall junction just past Casey Line highlights 5029 ‘Nunney Castle’ getting dragged down south by 37521 ready for tomorrows railtour. Bonus was newly livery 66601 passing on the Northampton Castle Yard Stone Train
Location 2 - Casey Lane
Next section out of Basford Hall Junction highlight was rare 150 unit move from Newton Heath to Bletchley plus the regular freight trains
Location 3 - Crewe Station
Popped up to Crewe Station to capture the unit drag hauled by tractor 37800. Stopped on platform 12 before heading round the corner on the Chester line to the Crewe Electric Depot
Location 4 - Crewe Horse Landing Sdgs
Posing in the sunshine were electric locomotives 90026, 89001, 86101, 90002 all visible apart from 90026 which was hidden behind a carriage
