Fantastic couple of days for tractors locally in the North West & North Wales along the Borderlands Line.

6K38 Crewe Basford Hall Yard to Bradwell Up Sdgs at Alsager Station
Lack of availability of Colas 66’s & 70’s meant a call up for a proper loco - 37405 doing the honors (What a performance passing Alsager)
Was a privilege to catch up with Basford Graham who is the head volunteer who keeps the station in good order especially the garden areas - well done Sir you and your colleagues do a great job 👌

5Q57 Crewe C.S. to Okd Dalby at Crewe Station
Did wait at Alsager Station for this working but it got delayed massively due to a faulty air cable so headed over to Crewe on the way home. Fitters were called and eventually departed over 3 hours late !!

1Q41 Derby RTC to Derby RTC at Buckley & Wrexham General
Great to see these Locomotives every month on the Borderlands Line (Definitely the highlight of the month) with alot of interest with enthusiasts

37418 & Saloon 975025 ‘Caroline’
2Z25 Derby to Newport at Chester
Network Rail Jolly day out in the Saloon. Lucky enough for the tractor to have a signal stop in the middle road & only a Amber to get it going again (So no power up on this occasion) followed a passenger train up to Wrexham so a steady journey down the Marches Line
