Visit to two locations today on the West Coast Main Line - WCML
Location 1 - Chorlton
South side of Basford Hall Junction. Few freights captured plus light engine movement down to Wembley
Location 2 - Crewe Station
Hub of the WCML in Cheshire, 61306 ‘Mayflower’ making its first appearance of the year hauling the Lakelander railtour. Great place capture the loco swap overs from diesel to steam (With some help from the diesels) !!
Bonus was 37510 on an unit drag head down to Willesden depot north end of London
Bit of a strange working, TFW cancelled the WAG train and an empty coaching stock diagram appeared heading to Manchester Piccadilly!!
