Capturing Old Memories at Latchford Sidings & FAST Freight Trains through Warrington Train Station

Reason for visit was to see the Rail Adventure Power Cars around 13:00. Planned to run through platform 3 to Dallam Junction and back through the station on the goods line. Unfortunately this didn’t happen 🙁appeared prior to the station and went off the radar…..Strangely on Realtime Trains the Power Cars went through the station twice which is not true !!
In all good visit with some freights whizzing through at high speed. Bit of Clag from the biomass tug on start up and a walk over to the Road Bridge looking over to the old Arpley sidings and Latchford sidings were the sand train ran round and headed off to the WCML. That brought some memories back with the old coal trains to Fiddlers Ferry Power Station .
