37218 Puts On A LOUD SHOW & Deltic 9 On FINE FORM - Keighley & Worth Valley Railway Diesel Gala 2026
All footage in this video was put in order chronologically, I haven't added locations for the spots I filmed at so if you want to know where somewhere was just leave a comment.
It was a great two days filming at the KWVR diesel gala, the guest locos were 31108, 31120, 37218, 37250, 47715, 50049 and 55009. Home fleet were KWVR's 08s and class 14 D9520 which also carried the number D37025 on the side to remember the failure of The Highland Stag. My personal favourite from the gala was 37218, it was extrememly loud and produced lots of clag. Deltic 55009 put on a right good show and although I still am not a deltic fan it was quite mega for a deltic. Honerable mentions go to 37250 and 50049 but the 31s were reasonably disappointing personally, or at least on the thursday.
I'm using a camcorder to film for the first time ever on this channel so please let me know your feedback on it! Unfortunately I've had an issue with connecting my mic to it so I was using the internal mic through the entire video which will explain the excess background noise.
Thank you for taking the time to watch this video, I have a lot more planned for the channel over the next few months.
