It's June 2026 and i'm taking a trip from Wakefield to Derby. We see passenger, freight and stock moves at Wakefield Westgate, Sheffield and Derby. The highlight was a class 37 hauled stock move of Inspection Saloon 'Caroline' and preserved 58 023 passing through Derby. Other classes seen are 66, 158 Sprinter DMU, 170, 220, 221, 222, 333 EMU and 810 IEP with operators Cross Country, East Midlands Railway, Heavy Haul and Northern.
