After a busy few weeks in the workshops, Class 14 D9551 is back in traffic at the Severn Valley Railway following its 100-hour maintenance examination.
The team have worked tirelessly through extremely hot conditions, dealing with routine servicing, unexpected issues, and numerous driver call-outs to ensure D9551 was ready to return to service. A huge thank you goes to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication in getting the locomotive back out on the railway.
In this video, D9551 is seen at Kidderminster operating ECS (Empty Coaching Stock) movements, positioning coaching stock ready for the resumption of passenger services after the recent heatwave.
