A couple of evenings at Cock Lane until the light faded, a windy but sunny afternoon at Foxcovert Road and a Sunday observing a pair of throaty Colas 37's with Network Rail's OHE test train running from March to Derby via a round trip to Doncaster and back to Peterborough on the Joint Line. We don't need a test train to check that the track on the Up Slow at Werrington Junction needs some TLC as we can visually see how poor the track is when the convoy of 66's sway and bounce their way across the junction.
