Small Heath & Tyseley - Wednesday 17th June 2026
One benefit of HS2 (?!? again) is the increase of stone traffic to Small Heath yards, so plenty to see, especially as I didn't realise when the locos run round, they come right up into Tyseley station.
A fair amount of freight and a couple of 68s too.....not too shabby for about three hours (these days..I remember when it was non stop coal trains and other freight back in 'the day'. if you had only seen six freights in three hours, that was a really bad day)
Thanks for watching
