Hunslet Fitzwilliam 0-6-0 2409 King George is currently a side tank after being converted from a saddle tank for loan for the year from the Didcot Railway Centre.
A railway event featuring steam locomotives took place on the Epping and Ongar Railway, with visiting and home fleet engines operating between locations including Epping, Ongar, and North Weald. The event included GWR Hall Class 6989 Wighwick Hall and Large Prairie 5101, alongside home-based locomotives such as GWR 4953 Pitchford Hall and the Hunslet Fitzwilliam 2409 King George. Various coach sets were used, including MK1 and MK2 carriages, with special rides offered on a newly restored GWR Fruit D brake van. The event also highlighted some locomotives during their final workings or loan periods.
