On Sunday 26th July 2026, the SRPS ran ‘The Double Discovery’ tour from Dundee to Polmont, hauled by 37025 ‘Inverness TMD’ and tailed by 50050 ‘Fearless’. I travelled to Stirling where the tour stopped for a short while to drop to drop off passengers before making a great departure towards Polmont.
This tour ran the day after ‘The Yorvik Discovery’ tour to Scarborough the previous day with the same locomotives which unfortunately I couldn’t see as I was in Carlisle with the 125 Group HST, but I’m happy to have seen this to make up for it.
