Massive Delays at Carlisle after a Excellent Morning. 27 July 26

Monday 27th was one of those days the railway operators hate. Trespassers causing severe delays, cancellations etc up and down the West Coast Main line. Otherwise it was a good day - with interesting freight and engineer's trains through Carlisle. Besides the Tesco and Log trains, the engineer's train was moving Point & Crossing carriers and a crane to Crewe and DRS took their aggregate empties to Shap. The New Measurement Train departed after being in the Holding Sidings since the previous day.
It was Lumo's first day of their full timetable but even they got caught up in the delays.
