Ex British Rail Network SouthEast-Woburn Sands & Bletchley with Classes 31, 117 DMU & 321 EMU
A film now from the collection of a now departed friend. Having seen my videos taken since 1985 he was inspired to go out and buy his own video camera and get filming. I have been digitising them and converting the Video8 tapes to MP4. This upload goes back to July 1999 and the Marston Vale Line. We see the class 31 top & tailed loco hauled used on the branch that summer along with Network SouthEast liveried class 117 DMU's at Woburn Sands along with good views of the signal box & semaphore signals and level crossing. We finish at Bletchley with a couple of NSE liveried class 321 EMU's. If you liked the video please subscribe to my channel, there are lots more transport & quirky vids to upload!
This video captures railway scenes from the Marston Vale Line in the late 1990s, featuring a Class 31 diesel locomotive, Network South East liveried Class 117 DMUs at Woburn Sands, and Class 321 EMUs at Bletchley. The footage includes views of a signal box, semaphore signals, and a level crossing. The content is part of a collection digitised from Video8 tapes, offering a historical perspective on railway operations during that period.
Fishplate has identified 1 locomotive in this video. We’ve also matched 2 operators . Create a free account to see where they appear, unlock timestamps and locations, and view the full breakdown.
