A moment 29 years in the making, BR Class 55 Deltic D9015 'Tulyar' returns to traffic over almost three decades out of service, making her return at the Great Central Railway following several months of test runs following the completion of her overhaul.

Friday 31st July 2026 would see the official launch of the loco back into service, with members of the Deltic Preservation Society given chance to ride No.15's first passenger trains since April 1997. The 1st August would see D9015 return to public services.

The loco is adorned in full BR Two-Tone Green, a departure from the BR Blue carried by DPS Shedmates 55009 'Alycidon' and 55019 'Royal Highland Fusilier', showcasing how the Deltic's appeared in the 1960s.
