56078 at Springs Branch - 08th January 2023
The class 56 was hauling what look to be sparkling new wagons. I believe this is a spoil train today working from Longport near Stoke north to Carlisle and was on-time here.
The train wasn't booked to wait here but a Blackpool service was due and as expected that was allowed to run. I'm sorry I couldn't rush positions fast enough still a decent shot of another thrashy departure of a 56. One of my personal favourite locos .
