60096 at Ince Moss Junction - 16th February 2023
The class 60 locomotive was working the second of the days aggregates trains from Tuebrook Sidings near Edge Hill to Ashton In Makerfield around 3 miles away from here.
The train was slowing down here ready to swing right twice and around the curve to Bamfurlong before her brief 2 mile trip down the wcml to Ashton. She was running 21 late here I think down to late passenger trains.
I always enjoy filming here as it's a nice peaceful spot. Tall fencing makes it a tad awkward. A foldable step I'd recommend using.
