In todays video we have a pair of West Coast Railways class 47s heading along the fast lines of the west coast main line at Bamfurlong near Wigan on Tuesday 1st June 2021. The pair were working a "Dalesmen" railtour from Chester to Carlisle via the S&C. But the train left Chester 10 late and by the time she sped past us here she was 61 minuites late with most of that being stuck at Winick junction north of Warrington were 88007 had been broken down for some time. This led to the train taking the longer diversion via Earlstown and Newton Le Willows. We think that 47245 also suffered some kind of issues. The bonus of all this was getting the 47s via the fasts instead of the booked slows.


47813 is pianted still in the old Rail Operastions Group livery and hopefully avoids the awful maroon dip for some time if not for another classic livery. I hope you enjoy the video and please subscibne to the channel to keep upto date with what I release next.
