86401 at Springs Branch | Settle & Carlisle Special 29th April 2023
The Class 86 was working "Settle & Carlisle Northern Belle" special with 57313 rear gunning it seen on its return leg from Appleby to Coventry. The 86 hauled Coventry to Carnforth then 40145 took it to Preston via Appleby up the WCML and down the S&C. The class 40 was used due to unavailable steam traction which I believe it was Tangmere booked onto it.
