47812 Drags Black Five 45407 Through Wigan - 11th April 2024
The 47 was dragging Stanier Class Black Five steam locomotive 45407 "The Lancashire Fusilier" from Carnforth to Southall ahead of a duty on the Tour of Great Britain.
The locomotive had worked from Bury East Lancashire Railway to Carnforth via Blackburn the previous day so she'd be facing right way for trip to London. Disappointed see her not lead.
Running a few minutes late it was getting worrying weather the Blackpool would ruin it thankfully it didn't.
