43468 & 43480 With 20205 & 20007 Storms Through Wigan - 23rd February 2025
The phenomenal quartet were working an empty coaching stock move from Wembley to Carnforth. 20142 was detached at Dudeston Junction around Birmingham to hear back to the Severn Valley Railway.
The train was running 2 early here and with about 18 seconds to spare passed through nicely with some cracking tones from the driver. An Avanti London train was typically booked at the same time. Running Ontime too which was a shock but not it's full trip. High winds and a landslip around Lockerbie had caused chaos in last day or so.
The stock was W6310, M3325, M3314, M1657, M3333, M6024, M6067, M5998 & M5961.
Liveries on show.
20205 wearing Class 20 Locomotive Society
British Rail Corporate Blue with West Highland Terrier Emblems
20007 wearing London Transport Livery
43468 and 43380 wearing the green and grey Rail Adventure Group livery
The locos next move is a Carnforth to Eastriggs in Scotland move for anyone wondering. Unsure if that's with the coaches or not.

Friday 21st February 2025
UK Railtours ran their ''The Chopper Quartet'' railtour running from Preston - Bewdley and Bewdley - Watford Junction. The outward leg of the tour from Preston would be worked by a pair of HST Power Cars in Rail Adventure livery, in this case it was 43480 and 43468. It was originally planned for 4 Class 20s to be working on this tour from Bewdley - Watford Junction, however 20189 was unavailable so instead this was reduced to 3 20s with 20007, 20205 and 20142 working the train.
Please correct me on anything I have noted wrong. I think I've the basic but not entire knowledge of the tour and what ran when leading.
