20107 + 20096 on The Fellsman - 20th July 2022
The class 20s & class 47 were hauling the northbound leg of "The Fellsman" railtour from Crewe to Carlisle via Chester. The 47 being used to move the train between Crewe and Chester. Steam trains usually work this charter but due to the recent heatwave they have been withdrawn due to fire risks. It was breezy this morning and much cooler than it has been.
