56098 & 56049 On Chirk Logs Train at Wigan - 09th January 2024
The grids were hauling the heavy timber train from Carlisle to Chirk in North Wales on time and sounding amazing with some tones from the driver. Timings meant as shown she clashed with an Avanti service. Certainly worth standing out in the cold for this.
The loco had gone from Leicester to Carlisle on Sunday, which Ill releases one day. Hopefully she is on hire for a while, as it seems the Colas 70 fleet isn't in action much.
