In today's video, we have intercity liveried Class 87, 87002 is back in action on the West Coast Main Line again on Thursday 25th June 2020. Seen storming through Bamfurlong on a loaded test run with a full rake of Statesman Rail coaches and 47805 tagging on for good measure... Class 87 was heading up from Crewe to Carlisle then returning in the early afternoon ahead of the re-introduction of rail tours in the very near future which will be a nice throwback to before I started spotting as a child.
