47828 & 47593 at Bamfurlong - 29th May 2023
The class 47s were working a heavily delayed return coaching stock move from Kilmarnock in Scotland having been on the "Yorkshire Coast Statesman" tour from Ayr to Scarborough the previous day.
47593 actually was on the tour but drank most of its fuel so 828 was sent from Crewe to help bring the train home. ScotRail 47712 developed some issues so was left in Scarborough to be dragged home by 37668. The train was 242 minuites late here which eqautes to just over 4 hours late here.
