In today's video, we have a pair of class 70 hauled freight trains seen passing Bamfurlong south of Wigan on Friday 20th November 2020. First up we see Freightliner 70002 taking the stone train south, these are quite rare as this train is usually a solid class 66 working. Less than 10 minutes later we see a Colas 70 working the ballast train to Carlisle storming north on the fasts which isn't too common and normal running would see her looped onto the slows for a break just up the line at Springs Branch.
