70814 at Springs Branch - 24th October 2024
The class 70 locomotive was working the Carlisle to Chirk logs timber train routed down the Settle and Carlisle line before dropping through Clitheroe and Blackburn.
The train was crossing over here to use the slows lines and be held for some Avanti services. Which happens quite often these days. The 70s have such a fun distinctive engine sounds which I always really enjoy.
