43277 & 43257 at Bamfurlong - 04th December 2024
The class 43s were working the regular fortnightly Network Rail test train back south from Slateford Depot near Edinburgh south to Crewe and onwards to probably Derby.
The train was running 25 minutes late here moments behind one of several Avanti services. The test train was held in Carlisle for a while before proceeding south.

Two Class 43 diesel locomotives, numbered 43277 and 43257, are seen operating on the West Coast Main Line near Bamfurlong.
